Academic Journals

Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone subscribes to and could recommend any academic journals or publications about philosophy or theology?

Re: Academic Journals

Philo is the big hitting journal for philosophy of Religion/atheism verses theism controversies – a number of ideas which have now became focal points of debate e.g. the evolutionary problem of animal suffering or Maydole's Modal Perfection argument originally appeared there.

Philosophia Christi is another major journal – it focuses very much on the Protestant/Theist Personalist approach to philosophy of religion

The American Catholic Quarterly
is quite interesting though a lot of the material is rather specialist i.e. one will get more out of it if one’s a medievalist. Having said that it sometimes has good articles from an unusual perspective, for instance there was a great one on Spinoza and immortality a couple of issues back.

Faith and Philosophy is a sort of all round phil of religion journal. It has some good articles by Leftow and the Adams team.
