Howdy

I was recommended here by another member who I know from a different forum.

History is my main interest, but I like to talk philosophy, politics, and religion for fun to keep my brain sharp. I'm also Catholic and enjoy discussing the ins and outs of the Church.

Outside of the intellectual fields, I enjoy hockey, thrash metal, and bourbon.

It is precisely “values” that are the powerless and threadbare mask of the objectification of beings, an objectification that has become flat and devoid of background. No one dies for mere values.
