I've been looking at options and came across a supplier offering an IBC tank 1000 litres new bottle in used cage, which seems like a smart middle ground – you get a fresh, uncontaminated inner container while the outer cage and pallet have been inspected and reconditioned. My main concern is whether the used cage structure is genuinely robust enough for stacking and forklift handling, or if we'd be compromising safety for a lower price. Has anyone here used this "new bottle in used cage" configuration for storing chemicals, and how did it hold up over time? I'm particularly worried about the cage integrity given the heat and humidity here.
