Ah, no. those are both something altogether more respectable, though down that path lies another contentious (though often at least non-naturalist) debate. I'm not sure how it's to help us.

To a certain extent it might aid as a science of interpreting which texts *are* indeed in some strongly literary genre, but these approaches often presuppose a non-theism of some sort. The texts is a melange of cobbled together source materials whose use for affirming or denying points of theology is often left as a mystery or set to the side as impossible.
