It depends on the circumstances. Alas, not everyone has time at any specific moment to do an in-depth investigation of particular studies, or any other links, that come up on a forum or combox. That my comments were general and don't  necessarily represent what this study says should be clear enough to all. Unfortunately, they will have to take them or leave them for now, unless I have more time.

I generally agree with you about research. But I have seen a good amount of ideological shenanigans with politically sensitive statistics, especially when it concerns identity politics, so I suspend judgement on such research until such time as I have the time to investigate in-depth.
