"But just how much privation?"

A friend and I once discussed just how far New Atheism/Secular Humanism could sink. For a long time this choice gem from our old friends at Prometheus Books was the cake taker:

However I was recently treated to this:

There is nothing aesthetically or intellectually wrong with an hard sci-fi video game where one explores and terraforms other planets; there is a great deal aesthetically or intellectually wrong with an hard sci-fi video game where one explores and terraforms other planets whilst guided by Neil deGrasse Tyson. Kudos if anyone can get a screen shot of the exceedingly sickly Facebook promo cartoon.

(Suggest a whole series of such games. In the next installment Stephen Hawkins guides the player in creating a perfect warrior biological war machine devoid of all weakness, all compassion, all mercy and then attempting to conquer and destroy - exterminate if you will - all other sentient life through-out space-time. The third is a zoo keeper type game where one accompanies James Watson across the globe collecting of all types of human ethnicity for experiments - the goal is to purge the weak from the gene pool whilst forcibly breeding others to create your master race. Fourth is a martial arts game set in a Matrix like virtual reality staring Sam Harris)
