Can Reason Alone Lead Someone to Belief in God?

Many philosophers have argued that human reason can point toward the existence of God without relying on scripture or religious tradition. Classical theism often appeals to arguments such as the cosmological argument, the argument from contingency, and the concept of a necessary being. On the other hand, critics argue that these arguments do not conclusively prove God's existence and that faith ultimately goes beyond reason.I'm interested in hearing different perspectives:

  • Do you think reason alone can justify belief in God?
  • Which philosophical argument do you find strongest—or weakest?
  • Can classical theism remain persuasive in today's scientific age?

I recently read several articles discussing these ideas, and one resource I found useful is PK68: Looking forward to a respectful discussion. This topic fits well with a classical theism forum because it encourages philosophical discussion instead of advertising. If your goal is to build backlinks to your PK68, it's better to become an active participant and only include your link when it genuinely adds value to the conversation.
