My Jeep's plastic trim is fading badly – can detailing bring it back?

I've got a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the black plastic trim around the wheel arches and the bumpers has turned this awful chalky grey colour that really makes the whole car look tired and neglected, especially when the paint is clean and shiny but the trim just stands out like a sore thumb. I've tried all those trim restorer products from the auto shops – you know the ones, they come in a little bottle and promise to bring back the deep black finish – but honestly they work for about a week and then the fading comes back worse than before. I've heard that some professional detailers have more permanent solutions like using heat guns to bring the oils back to the surface or applying ceramic coatings specifically designed for plastic trim, but I'm not sure if that's actually effective or if it's just going to be another temporary fix that wastes my money. I'm considering taking it to a professional Jeep detailing centre in Musaffah Shabiya because I've heard good things about some of the workshops there, but I want to make sure they actually know how to deal with this specific issue rather than just applying the same off-the-shelf products that I've already tried myself. Has anyone had their faded plastic trim professionally restored and actually seen long-lasting results? What method did they use and how long did it last before the fading started coming back? I'm willing to pay for a proper solution if it genuinely works, but I don't want to get my hopes up only to have it look terrible again within a few months.
