I've been driving around with a sluggish start on my German saloon for a few weeks now and I know I'm just asking for trouble by ignoring it, but I kept putting it off because I wasn't sure where to go and didn't want to end up with some random battery that wouldn't last five minutes in this heat. I've been looking at Fiamm because I've heard they're solid for European cars and the AGM tech is supposed to handle the stop-start systems properly, but finding a place that actually stocks them and knows how to fit them without messing up the coding has been doing my head in. I called a couple of general battery shops and they either didn't have the right size or looked at me blankly when I asked about battery registration, which is not exactly reassuring when you're dealing with sensitive electronics. I'm based around Khalifa City but honestly I'd drive anywhere in the city if I knew they'd do a proper job. I found a listing for Quality Fiamm battery installation in Abu Dhabi  and it seemed promising because they mentioned they handle the BMS reset and everything, but I'm always a bit skeptical of online claims without some real feedback from people who've actually used them. Has anyone here had a Fiamm fitted recently and can tell me if the service was decent and whether the price was fair? I really don't want to end up with warning lights or a battery that dies again in six months because someone skipped the proper procedures, so any honest recommendations would be massively helpful right about now.
