Sin

Is it a sin to doubt the existence of God? Isn't God the one giving the person these thoughts?

No, I do not think that doubting God's existence is a sin. Why do you think that God is giving people these thoughts?

Re: Sin

I think that because,  although it may be indirectly, given that God created everything, isn't our thoughts also included in those he created?

Re: Sin

Typically it's thought no, since we are created free. Also, unless you're an occasionalist, it has traditionally been held that God does not directly cause everything that happens. He creates matter and the natures of things, but these cause each other.

Re: Sin

Just to be sure, so you're saying that God didn't give us these thoughts but the ones who did are the things that affect each other or things that made us think like "that"?

I think perhaps you should accept ownership of your own thoughts.  That seems like a good place to start.
