My best wishes and prayers for a blessed holy day to those who are into that sort of thing -- and, for that matter, to those who aren't. Our Mother is very gracious.

Just a note to anyone who's interested that tomorrow (on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord) I'm consecrating myself to the Blessed Virgin following 33 days of more or less Montfortean preparation. (I say "more or less" because I'm not officially in full communion with the Church yet and I'm following Fr. Michael Gaitley's program this year. When I renew my consecration next year, and will presumably be able to take Communion, I'll be going the Full Montfort.) Thank you for your support and prayers, and God's blessings on you all.

from a Catholic Fesersphere lurker:

Scott, wonderful news about your consecration, and journey into communion in the Mystical Body of Christ.  My prayers are with you.  Our Blessed Mother takes care of her children, and leads them ever closer to her divine Son.  In her last recorded words in Scripture, she gives the best motherly advice ever:  "Do whatever He tells you." (John 2:5)

God bless!
