Classical Theism, Philosophy, and Religion Forum / Book on the saints?

Seeing how I'm strongly considering the priesthood, I think it best I become familiar with the holy men and women who came before me. Any book suggestions. I would prefer a book that perhaps covers a wide range of saints, including modern ones.
