Not being incredibly acquainted with Catholic writings and methods of biblical exegesis, I was wondering if any of you could recommend some commentaries on the Bible to me.

I might also add, I would very much appreciate some philosophical sources regarding the Incarnation. That is by far my most significant issue with Christianity.

Oh, I love this set:
This isn't Catholic per se, but it's certainly closer than protestant stuff.

Work harder! It's only like ~$800 on Amazon! What's food and shelter vs books?

Thanks everybody! I have massive amounts of time a day open for reading, so the more the merrier!
iwpoe: I already made myself just about broke for books - I just bought a long out of print set of Ibn Ezra's lesser known works for around 400 dollars (I am still paying that off). I can't spend significant amounts on Christian works though; God knows the outcry from my parents would be intolerable. They have a hard enough time with my heresies as is, they don't need any more encouragement.

Do they take away your Jew card if you buy too many Christian commentaries?

No, but as you once told me: "A wise man knows when to keep silent" (as I recall it was regarding your stance on Pater Familias).
